The Recommendation of Imam Ali (a) to Physicians

The Commander of the Faithful, Imam ʿAli (peace be upon him):
مَن تَطَبَّبَ فَلیَتَّقِ اللهَ، وَ لیَنَصَح وَ لیَجتَهِد
“Whoever practices medicine should be mindful of God, offer sincere advice, and exert effort.”
